Rock Gone.

Dublin's temporary Classic Rock station 94.9 The Rock finished it's run of weekend broadcasts today with a countdown of the biggest rock classics in their library.
The final day featured Marty Miller voiced sweepers hinting at 'Full Time Rock Radio' coming to Dublin "soon". The sweeper asked listeners to text the station for more info. I wonder what kind of a response they'll get to this teaser?

The Rock will re-incarnate as Nova 100 and is expected to come on air in late Summer '09.
Good luck to Kevin Brannigan and all of those involved. We haven't had a rock format in Dublin since Rock 104 re-branded as FM104 waaaaay back.
