No More Talk in Edinburgh.

UTV, who own several station in Ireland, are to close Edinburgh's talk outlet talk 107.
The final day will be Christmas Eve...staff were told today!
The station could have remained on air if a buyer had been found, which I guess just goes to show how companies are hanging onto their cash theseBold days rather than spending it.
The licence will be handed back to UK regulator Ofcom.
talk107's highest share was 1.7.

In Ireland UTV own Live 95 in Limerick, 96FM and C103 in Cork, FM104 and Q102 in Dublin, LMFM in Drogheda and U105 in Belfast.
