So a big Well Done to KCLR and their upcoming Fright Night on the 13th.
This is the kind of event that makes your average punter talk about radio. That's the whole idea, right? Raise the profile...get some awareness going.
I remember waaaaay back on Sunshine 101, we did A Nightmare on 101 Street.
The set up was that newsreader Bob Powell had suddenly lost the plot and decided to lock Mark Byrne and Avril Hoare in the studio. Bob was so menacing that eventually the show had to be stopped...listeners were calling the station and were actually, genuinely scared!
That has more to do with Bob's convincing acting than listener naiviety.
I wonder if anyone has audio of that?
