Phoenix Want A Boss.

How would you feel about becoming the Station Manager at one of Dublin's most forward thinking and ambitious community radio stations?
Well, Phoenix FM in Blanchardstown are looking for a persdon who can take on this role and bring them to where they want to be. I've spoken with people from the station and they aren't going to settle for being a low-key local - they want to make the most of their remit and have real vision.
Daniel Pitcher, who has been with the station for over 3 years told me, "This is a wonderful step in our stations' history, Things have been a bit hard for us recently and for a while nothing was being done in the station because people were too busy in other jobs"."Now that we will be getting a new station manager hopefully things will dramaticly turn around, I cant wait" .
The job will entail a FULL salary of €40,000 + pa.
This isn't an ad for the gig, more a case of me thinking that it could be a great opportunity for you if you would like the challenge of being ' responsible for the management, the staff, the station operations and implementing the stations strategic plan'.
Send CV details to phoenixfmjobs@ireland.com and no later than september 13th 2009.
Phoenix FM in the not so near future will be also be hiring Five more people on a part time basis. As soon as I hear more, I'll let you know.
