Not exclusively a radio story, but I wanted to mention the passing of David Vine aged 73.
For people of a certain generation, especially if you were a kid in the late 70s/early 80s, David Vine was the main man on TV sports. He presented everything worth watching.
He did Match Of the Day, Ski Sunday (with the awesome signature tune), Olympics, Wimbledon and A Question Of Sport.
He made it look so easy.
